Use Time Wisely.
Time

Time is our most valuable asset.

Once it is gone, it can never be recalled. In the battle of the sexes, it is
most likely that if you are female, you are more capable than your male
counterpart to “
multi-task”. Multi-tasking is the ability to do more than one
task at a
time. Some men are very adaptable to multi-tasking some are
not. Figure out if you are able. This will increase your ability to do more in
less time.

There is no way to control
time. There will always be a certain amount of
time in each day, no matter what you do with it. You can control your efforts.
Let’s Consider some things you can do to get the most out of your daily
time during a job search:

  •       Never schedule more than two interviews a day.

  •       Remember, you have control only over your decisions, not your
    time.

  •       Always plan the day before all routes and transportation.

  •       Determine a time everyday for planning the next day and let
    nothing deter your planning.

  •       Be willing to prioritize and evaluate the cost benefits of the job
    or interviewing for the job.

  •       Time Value is planning and preparation.

  •       Develop a weekly plan that outlines all the modes of search
and how you plan to apply each:
                        Foot

                        Telephone

                        Internet

                        Live interviews.

Things to consider even after you get that job:

  •       Consider how to delegate responsibility.

  •       Prep your work area each night for the next day.

  •       Identify the shortest most positive route to your goals.

  •       Always arrive a little early and take 5 to ten minutes to prepare
for today at the beginning and for tomorrow at the end.

  •       Constantly evaluate and make improvements on your personal
practices. Continue to study your agency policies and their
    rationale.
